A mysterious girl born with the innate ability to use magic, despite it having disappeared from the world 1,000 years ago. With no knowledge of her unique birth to esper and human parents, she is utilized by the Gestahlian Empire via mind control as a living weapon to further their plans to control the world. She regains her senses, however, after a chance encounter with an Esper encased in crystal during an assignment in the town of Narshe, and FFVI protagonist Locke persuades her to join their resistance against the Empire.
